Jonnie Peacock wins 100m
Peacock raced against his hero South Africa's Oscar Pistorius on Thursday night and beat him convincingly in the T44 100m, charging away from the start for a victory that never looked in doubt.
Peacock crossed the line in 10.90.
Richard Browne of the USA was second, with Arnu Fourie of South Africa third and Pistorius fourth.
– Peter Eriksson, UK Athletics Paralympic head coach"Jonnie Peacock is very young in the squad. He shows the world that you can come up with proper training, having a superb coach in Dan Pfaff and cope with all the pressure that he had today.
"I think that was amazing - what more could he do."
