Police were today combing Long Street in Easingwold for clues - and trying to piece together events in the early hours of Sunday morning.
It's thought Mr Khan, a 36-year-old delivery driver from Luton, was attacked close to a local pub.
It's thought he then drove his van a few hundred yards before crashing into roadside bollards. He died later in hospital.
A mortem revealed he'd been stabbed. Police think it may have been an unprovoked racially motivated attack.
A 26-year-old local man's been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Three other people including a 20-year-old woman are being questioned on suspicion of assisting an offender.
Police want anyone who was in the Long Street area early yesterday and who may have seen anything to come forward.
They're also still trying to trace the murder weapon.
