Police appeal for witnesses to street robbery

Therobbery took place at around 10.30pm on Wednesday 26 September in an alleyway in Hammersmith Close. A 20-year-old man was attacked from behind by a man who punched him and then demanded his mobilephone and wallet. After handing over his possessions the robber then fledtowards Sundon Road.

Police description of robber:

  • White male in his mid 20s
  • Around 5' 10" tall
  • Unkempt dark blond hair and scruffy beard
  • Wearing a grey hoodie, green fingerless gloves and black jogging bottoms

There were also two other men in the area at the time of the robbery and they were wearing dark clothing with hoods pulled up.
