Community and Armed Forces in Suffolk have today signed a landmark covenant pledging support for the county's Armed Forces community of serving personnel, veterans, their families and widowers working and living in Suffolk.

The Community Covenant declares mutual support and practical help for Forces personnel and their families and is part of a £30 million national scheme, launched by the Ministry of Defence, to improve links between the military and civilian communities.

The funding will be used to support various projects, including raising GP awareness of Combat Stress.
