Family distressed over failings which led to death of woman killed by horse

A jury in Bury St Edmunds has returned a verdict of accidental death on a grandmother killed by a runaway horse.

Carole Bullett was trampled at the Nowton Park Country Fair in June last year when the horse bolted while attached to a carriage.

The inquest heard there had been inadequate risk assessments carried out beforehand. The Health and Safety Executive says it'll now review the evidence and consider whether to bring any prosecutions.
