Arlesey Town to face former FA Cup winners

Arlesey Town, Braintree Town and Cambridge City can look forward to bumper ties in the FA Cup after the draw for the 1st round was made today.
While the latter two clubs will host league sides, its Arlesey's tie which is the most appetising - they will travel to face Coventry City, who won the cup in 1987. Coventry were playing Premier League football just 11 years ago, and only lost their Championship status last season.
Arlesey, who play in the Southern League, are playing in the FA Cup 1st Round for only the second time in their history.
Braintree Town were drawn at home to League One leaders Tranmere, while Cambridge City will host the MK Dons.
Also hoping for a plum home tie are the winners of Chelmsford City and East Thurrock - they will face Colchester United.
The ties involving clubs from the ITV Anglia region are:

BISHOP'S STORTFORD v Hastings United
CAMBRIDGE CITY v MK DONS

NORTHAMPTON v Bradford City
BRAINTREE v Tranmere Rovers
Ties due to be played weekend 3-4 November.
