A man from Huntingdon has had his face rebuilt using skin from his thigh because of a rare form of cancer.

Fashion designer Josh Stephenson was diagnosed with an eye tumour in 2009 and was treated with radiotherapy in early 2010, but the cancer spread to his face and doctors were forced to operate.

Josh had to have his left eye removed, along with parts of his upper jaw and the roof of his mouth.

The subject of a Channel Four documentary, Josh has had more than 50 hours of facial reconstruction surgery and says he feels lucky to be alive.
