Chelmsford City face another League 1 side in the FA Cup.
by Donovan Blake
Chelmsford City, who caused one of the big shocks in Round One of the FA Cup on Saturday (November 3), have another chance to pull off an upset in Round Two after being paired away to Crawley.
The Clarets knocked out another League One side Colchester 3-1 at Melbourne Park, thanks to two goals from Donovan Simmonds and another from Jamie Slabber.
Its the third season in a row that the Blue Square South club have reached this stage of the competition.
There's the prospect of two more non-league v league contests, depending on outstanding first round ties and replays.
Braintree - whose first round tie with League One Tranmere on Sunday (November 4) was postponed because of a waterlogged pitch - know they will face League Two Chesterfield if they win the re-arranged game at the Amlin Stadium.
The winners of Cambridge City and League One MK Dons will host either York City or AFC Wimbledon.
Details of the draw involving teams from the ITV Anglia region are as follows:
- Bury v SOUTHEND UNITED
- NORTHAMPTON TOWN or Bradford City v Brentford
- LUTON TOWN or Nuneaton Town v Dorchester Town or Plymouth Argyle
- BRAINTREE TOWN or Tranmere Rovers v Chesterfield
- CAMBRIDGE CITY or MK DONS v York City or AFC Wimbledon
- Crawley Town v CHELMSFORD CITY
Ties to be played November 30 to December 2 2012.
