Cancer diagnosis affected by social status

Experts at the University of Cambridge believe 1 in 9 people diagnosed with cancer are diagnosed later than they should be because of social differences.

Men, older people and patients from less affluent backgrounds are all more likely to be diagnosed late.

Now researchers are calling for more targeted health campaigns.
