The parents of a toddler crushed to death under a chest of drawers, have spoken out about the tragedy.
Mason Tipping, who was from Colchester, was just 22 months old - he'd climbed onto the furniture in his bedroom when it fell, trapping him underneath. Mason died soon after in hospital.
With two other children, Mason's parents had child-proofed their flat as much as they could. Fixing wall brackets to furniture that might pose a potential risk. They desperately regret not doing the same in Mason's room.
According to RoSPA accidents in the home are the most common cause of death in children. More than a million accidents are recorded every year, with the 0-4 age group the most at risk.
Adrian and Christine are now just trying to focus on their two young daughters. The only way, they say, to get them through this tragedy.
