Paul Weller is the first artist to sign up for the Forestry Commission’s live concert in woodland in East Anglia.
Singer songwriter Paul Weller will perform at Thetford Forest in Suffolk on Friday July 12.
Weller has enjoyed huge success with The Jam, The Style Council and as a solo artist.
Forest Live is an independent programme organised by the Forestry Commission bringing music to new audiences without commercial branding or sponsorship.
Income from the concerts is spent on improving the woodland for both people and wildlife.
Having performed previously to capacity crowds in 2004 and 2009, Paul Weller said, “It will be good for me to be back in the woods. I really enjoy the unique atmosphere of these gigs as do the fans.”
