Further flood warnings issued in the Anglia region

The Environment Agency has issued 23 Flood Warnings and 35 Flood Alerts in the Anglia region.

Six new Flood Warnings were issued overnight on Saturday into Sunday monring as strong, damaging winds also kicked in adding to the weather problems.

  • Flooding is expected for the areas near the River Nene from Elton to Wansford in Cambridgeshire including Elton, Yarwell and Wansford throughout Sunday and into Monday
  • Flooding is expected for the reas near to the River Nene from Thorpe Waterville to Eaglethorpe in Northamptonshire including Thorpe Waterville, Wadenhoe, Oundle, Cotterstock and Tansor throughout Sunday and into Monday
  • Bury Brook from Kings Ripton to Ramsey in Cambridgeshire. Flooding is expected for King's Ripton, Broughton, Wistow, Bury and Ramsey.
  • Flooding is expected for the Harpers Brook in Brigstock and Sudborough in Northamptonshire during Sunday.
  • Flooding is expected for River Avon at Stanford on Avon including Stanford on Avon village in Northamptonshire
  • River Great Ouse at Bromham in Bedfordshire. Flooding is expected for properties near to the River at Bromham Bridge. Properties are at risk in Herons Mead, The Paddocks, Millfield, Webbs Close, Peacock Road, Browning Close, Northampton Road, part of South View, Partridge Lane, Walnut Close, Brook Way, Trevor Drive, Rosemary Drive and Bromham Road.
