Posh players victims of theft at Ipswich

A wedding ring and watches were stolen from Peterborough United's dressing room during their match at Ipswich Town at the weekend.

One victim Peterborough defender,Gabriel Zakuani, wrote on Twitter:

"Whoever stole my wedding ring is such a tramp. Sad when you can't leave things in the changing room."

A spokesman for Ipswich Town said

The police, who were in attendance at the game, were asked to investigate the alleged theft of two watches and a ring from the Peterborough dressing-room. Ipswich Town assisted the police with their investigations on the Saturday evening including making CCTV footage of the area outside the dressing-room available.”
