Recycling plant staying shut

A new waste recycling machine in Cambridgeshire that broke in September last year is now unlikely to be fixed until the end of 2013.

The plant is designed to compost biodegradable material removed from household waste.

It means all the rubbish it would be recycling has to go into landfill...
