This weekend thousands of you across the East will be taking part in the world's biggest wildlife survey.

Today and tomorrow is the RSPB's annual Big Garden Birdwatch, in which people are being asked to record the birds in their gardens.

The survey's been going since 1979. Last year 80 thousand took part in East Anglia alone.

It's thought the extreme cold weather could mean this year more birds are spotted than usual as more birds flock to gardens in search of food.
