Luton Town manager Paul Buckle has issued a rallying cry ahead of their next game in the BlueSquare Bet Premier Division, saying "It's going to take an effort from everybody".

The Hatters' heroic FA Cup run ended in the Fifth Round against Millwall last Saturday (February 16). They were bidding to become the first non league club in almost a century to reach the quarter finals.

But the 3-0 defeat means the Hatters haven't won since their historic victory in Round Four at Premier League Norwich City. Now Buckle has to lift his players for their remaining Conference games, starting on Tuesday (February 19) at Macclesfield.

"That's the job", said Buckle. "That's the manager's job to lift people, especially when you lose.

"It's going to take an effort from everybody. Not just me, its everybody. The staff, the players, the fans. We've got to get right behind our league campaign now'.

Luton have games in hand over most of their promotion chasing rivals, but they'll start their latest game nine points outside the play-off zone, and fourteen behind leaders Grimsby Town.
