Cambridgeshire's Papworth Hospital was presented with three new pieces of life-saving equipment today by a very special charity.
The Norfolk Zipper Club, whose members have all had heart surgery at the hospital, have now made £1,000,000 worth of donations to the world famous centre.
Around 400 members of the club have helped break through the magical £1 million mark of donations to Papworth Hospital - today around 40 of them - including former patients - came back to Papworth to celebrate.
The Zipper Club was set up in 1982 - just three years after Papworth performed it's first heart transplant operation. As well as fundraising, it offers support and advice to patients facing heart surgery. The latest piece of equipment donated is one of dozens - all of them vital in saving lives across the region and beyond.
