North Norfolk Council has halved the price of renting a beach hut in a bid to encourage more people to visit the coast.
In 2012 there was a poor take up of beach huts and chalets in Cromer, Mundesley and Sheringham so this year the cost of rental between 6 April and 29 June is now just £23 per week.
During the high season it can cost up to £135 a week.
The huts don't have any utilities but do have panoramic views of the seashore and some furniture.
The council hopes it will encourage more visitors to the area in the period before the summer holidays and they're confident they will still return a profit.
