A group of car enthusiasts in Cambridge are planning to recreate one of the most ingenious student pranks of all time.

55 years ago, in June 1958, a group of students managed to perch an Austin 7 car on top of a Cambridge college.

To mark the anniversary members of the Austin 7 Car Club will lift a car built onto a big structure in Parker's Piece.

For years no-one had any idea how the car got there!

It only took the pranksters one night to get the car into place.

Police and firefighters battled for five days to get the car down and in the end admitted defeat and cut it into pieces.
