“The UK Centre for Carnival Arts is proud of the way Lutonians came out in their thousands to enjoy a truly spectacular day. Everywhere you looked there was colour, costumes, talent, diversity, music, families, friends and fun. The glorious sunshine added to the magic and the buzz on the streets kept everyone smiling all day."
Bedfordshire Police says the event concluded peacefully with just a handful of arrests. Approximately 140 officers were on duty, supported by colleagues from British Transport Police.
