A widow from Cambridgeshire has been left devastated after burglars stole her late husband's motorcycle equipment.

Thieves took two motorcycle 'off road' helmets, a specialised mountain bike, a brand new pair of white leather alpine star motorcycle boots and a blue kit from the garage in St Pega's Road, Peakirk on Bank Holiday Monday (May 27).

Detective Constable Dave May, said: "

"This is a very distressing burglary for the victim as many of the items held great sentimental value.

"The victim's late husband was a keen motorcyclist and the items were being used by her sons who are also getting into the sport.

"They are desperate for the items to be returned and I would urge anyone with information or who is offered such items for sale to call police."
