Nearly 4000 cyclists completed a hundred mile course around Norfolk today - raising money for the British Heart Foundation.
The annual Norwich 100 event started and finished at Norwich cathedral and took in most of the coastal road and parts of North Norfolk. Despite misconceptions about the famously flat county some riders found it tougher than they expected.

"One or two people who come here are quite surprised that Norfolk isn't like a billiard table and we seem to have found one or two of the hills.
We have our fair share of 'MAMILs' - middle aged men in lycra who are out to prove something but the majority of our riders, I hope, are here because they want to raise money for the British Heart Foundation'
