A concert will be held in Essex tonight in memory of a teenager who was stabbed to death last year.
Jay Whiston,17, was stabbed at a house party in Colchester last September. He died shortly afterwards in hospital.
Since his death, his family founded the Only Cowards Carry charity. It aims to tackle knife crime and teach young people the consequences of carrying dangerous weapons.
The charity will be holding a concert at the Westcliff Theatre in Clacton this evening. The fundraiser will include performances from local bands and musicians.
Only Cowards Carry holds regular events in Essex to campaign against knife crime. Last month, hundreds took part in a march along the streets of Colchester.
More information can be found on the Only Cowards Carry website.
