Police in Essex have released CCTV images of a number of people who they say might be vital witnesses to a suspicious fire in Southend.
The blaze began after a break-in at a kitchen and offices behind the Coast Bistro at Westcliff on the 3rd of July. Cash and alcohol were stolen from the premises.
The fire was reported at about 6.15pm, so officers say that commuters using a nearby alleyway at that time may have seen the suspects. Detectives have been looking through CCTV footage, and they say that they now want to speak to a number of people who could be vital witnesses.
