A school in Norwich is celebrating its best ever GCSE results.
The Ormiston Victory Academy was described as a failing school three years ago. Since then, it has seen drastic improvements in its exam results.
This year, it has bucked the national trend with 75% of pupils achieving A* to C grades.
– Rachel De Souza, Principal, Ormiston Victory Academy
It is the best year ever. The Victory students have excelled themselves. They've bucked all the national trends. Our A* to C, including Maths and English - that gold standard - is at 75%. Three years ago, it was 38%. It's amazing. They've done amazingly well.
