Thousands of unusual buildings will be open for public viewing from Thursday 12th September until Sunday 15th September. It will give visitors the chance to explore historical places as part of the Heritage Open Days, which is now in its 12th year.
North Creake control tower is on the edge of the former World War Two airfield in North Norfolk and is one of the many buildings opening their doors to the public. The tower is steeped in history as Halifax and Stirling bomber aircraft once flew secret missions out of it.
