Gorleston bakery given a shock as taxi crashes through window

A bakery in Gorleston was given quite a shock this morning when a taxi crashed through its front window.

The incident happened at around 9:15 am at the Flour and Bean on the town's High Street.

Emergency services were called to the scene but luckily no one was seriously injured.

Kerry Smith who works at the Flour and Bean, told ITV News Anglia:

"There was just this huge bang and I immediately ran to the front of the shop, amazingly there was a taxi through the window.

"It's the last thing you expect to see!"

The bakery will be closed for the rest of the day, but is expected to open again tomorrow.
