A chilly evening then temperatures rising as strong winds and rain spread in overnight, the rain becoming heavy at times, with southerly gales developing, especially on exposed coasts. Minimum temperature 1°C.
A wet, windy start, still some heavy rain for a time, but brightening up with some sunshine developing, although staying windy with some squally showers coming along. Maximum temperature 8°C.
Saturday, sunny spells, showers, chilly breeze. Sunday, a cold start, bright spells and mainly dry but cloudier later, winds freshening. Monday, windy, rain early and late, bright for a time.
