A widow who is trying to stop her late husband's sperm being destroyed has told ITV News Anglia she is not yet "emotionally ready" to have a child.
Beth Warren, from Newport Pagnell near Milton Keynes, arrived at the High Court with her lawyer to challenge the time limit that has been imposed by the UK fertility regulator.
She has until April next year to conceive using the sample her husband placed in storage before his death from a brain tumour in February 2012.
Ms Warren wants the court to allow her more time to make her decision.
She said: "It's right that I can have the family we'd planned."
