Most of us think of Valentine's Day as something for couples - an exclusive time for sweethearts. But there's a tradition from Norfolk dating back generations that celebrates ALL loved ones - young and old.

It's that of Jack Valentine and the celebration of Valentine's Eve - when family presents would be left on doorsteps across Norwich and beyond.

The mysterious Jack Valentine walked the streets knocking on doors and delivering presents. Shops used to be full of presents stocked especially for the occasion.
