The film actor John Hurt has thrown himself into local causes since moving to Norfolk five years ago.
His latest project is a £50,000 appeal towards a new education and heritage facility at Cinema City in Norwich.
As well as capturing cinematic memories and images, it's aim is also to entertain, educate and inspire.
£50,000 won't actually be enough to complete the project, but if the money can be raised, a further £500,000 should be unlocked from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
John took time out of his busy schedule today to talk to ITV News Anglia's Natalie Gray about the project and also revealed a couple of fascinating facts.
