Brave Norfolk builder buys public toilet block as a 30th anniversary gift for his wife...and gets away with it!

It's the new posh pad on the prom.

The toilet block went under the hammer May 2011, going for nearly twice the guide price at £104,000.

Nick Willan from Cawston in Norfolk had bought it for his wife Sue as a wedding anniversary present.

Nearly three years on and Sue's got her dream home.

"It's nice standing up in the bedroom and looking out into the sea.

I like the balconies. I look forward to sitting out there in the summer, having a cup of tea and doing some people watching."

They've spent £85,000 on the conversion.

Nick and Sue are going to use the house themselves and let it out to holidaymakers.

They're holding a charity open day on Saturday April 5 in aid of 'Help The Heroes.'
