One man has died and two more are missing feared dead in a fishing trip tragedy off the Suffolk coast at Lowestoft.
Norfolk Police have confirmed that two men from the Great Yarmouth area have been reported missing. It comes as searches continue at Lowestoft this morning.
One man was pulled from the sea but later died after a speedboat capsized on Monday afternoon off Ness Point.
Police say searches of the area by the coastguard and lifeboats have continued since then, following reports that there may have been two other men aboard the boat on a fishing trip.
Norfolk Police said the Coastguard and local lifeboats were alerted and around 2.25pm and a man was located in the water. Attempts were made to revive him but he was pronounced deceased just after 3pm. The man is believed to be from the Great Yarmouth area. Police in Norfolk and Suffolk are still working to try and locate his next-of-kin.
A boat was recovered from the water on Monday night and this will be examined in a bid to discover what happened.
