The National Union of Teachers is staging a one-day national strike on Wednesday 26 March which will affect schools across the Anglia region. Some may be closed or only partially open.
The union says the strike is over the changes to teachers' pensions, performance-related pay and workload.
The Department for Education said: "Parents will struggle to understand why the NUT is pressing ahead with strikes over the Government's measures to let heads pay good teachers more.
