Young people from across the region will gather at the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge later to find out how they could benefit from lottery funding.
St Neots high jumper Robbie Grabarz - who won a bronze medal at London 2012 - will be at the event which aims to get youngsters thinking about special community projects.
Grants of up to £50,000 are up for grabs.

“I’m delighted to be able to share my story. Sport is my passion and I went after my dream, helped by lottery funding. I hope that by being here I can inspire some of the young people to go after theirs. Heritage is all around us, and being a Cambridge boy the East is very close to my heart. I’m really excited to hear more about the stories that they will uncover.”
