Thirty baby elephants will be in Norwich today. Not real ones, but colourful statues. They are part of the world’s largest open air art exhibition of decorated elephant statues to raise public awareness and support for Asian elephant conservation.

The display will include seven miniature elephants designed by school children from around the region. The tour will be in the city for four weeks, moving to Essex in May.
