Elections to the European Parliament are being held on Thursday 22 May and there are are five MEPs to be elected in the East Midlands region.

The election uses a system of proportional representation to allocate the five seats and voters get to select one party from the list.

The East Midlands region includes Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire and Rutland.
