Conservative majority: 18

The Conservatives are defending a comfortable majority of 18 on Epping Forest Council in Essex.

After being a hung council for 13 years, where no one party had an overall majority, the Conservatives won power in 2007.

UKIP gained a seat from the Conservatives in a by-election in May 2013.

19 of the 58 seats on the council are up for election.
