Cambridge hoping for third time lucky in Conference play-offs

Cambridge United are could be celebrating the return of league football on Sunday.

Many actually thought the *FA Trophy winners *would go up automatically having led the Conference earlier in the season.

I think it's a big advantage [playing at Wembley] you can't underestimate the feeling as you walk up the tunnel and hear the noise for the first time, knowing you can handle that and then going to produce on the pitch is a big advantage.

Now they hope it's third time lucky via the play-offs at Wembley, against Gateshead. It would certainly be special for Luke Chadwick, who's currently on loan from MK Dons. He's a Cambridge fan and watched the club's previous two play-off final appearances.

It would be a dream come true for the club can get promoted, everyone will be there hoping that can happen against Gateshead.
