World Cup 2014 is barely a week old, but followers of football clubs across the ITV Anglia region will have their minds on the new domestic season later. That's when details of the 2014-15 Capital One Cup First Round are unveiled.

Luton were winners of this competition formerly sponsored by Littlewoods in 1988 when they beat Arsenal 3-2. Their last game was a Second Round 5-1 thrashing by Reading in August 2008, as season which ended with relegation from League Two.

You have to go back four years further back for Cambridge's last game League Cup tie. Their First Round contest at Watford in August 2004 ended in a 1-0 defeat.

Luton and Cambridge are both among the unseeded teams in the Southern half of the draw. They also include Colchester United, Northampton Town, Southend United and Stevenage. Ipswich Town, MK Dons and Peterborough United are seeded.
