A service has been held at the Stow Maries aerodrome near Maldon in Essex to celebrate Armed Forces Day.
Vintage aircraft that would've last taken to the skies 100 years ago were at the event to honour the sacrifices made by serving personnel, both past and present.
They're part of a collection managed by the Aviation Heritage Trust,
– Gene DeMarco, aviator
It's just amazing that you can bring these aircraft to where they were operated. It truly is home for them and to bring them here and have people talk about the sacrifices that people made to defend their country and what they gave for it, it's really an honour. A privilege to bring these planes here."
