A teenager has been jailed for 28 months in a young offender's institution after attacking two police officers, breaking one of their legs.

19-year-old Mohammed Labead pleaded guilty to the assaults which took place in January this year in the city's clubland.

PC Lee Wilson was left unconscious and suffered a fractured tibia. He told Norwich Crown Court he was left frightened and scared by the level of violence.

The assaults took place when PC Lee Wilson went to the aid of a female colleague who had been trying to calm down an aggressive and agitated teenager who'd grabbed hold of her near the Mojo nightclub on Norwich's Prince of Wales Road.
