A traditional Kenyan dance troupe will be performing at St Andrews Church in Halstead today as part of their 11th UK tour.

Their tours will help them raise money for their families in Kenya and also help fund the upkeep of the St Andrew’s church building.

The Essex law firm Birkett Long is supporting the event which is being hosted by The Friends of St Andrew's church.

"This is exactly the type of unique event that the firm likes to get involved in. Birkett Long’s first office was in Halstead, and we have a strong affinity with the town"

– Jennie Skingsley

Roger Smith, Chairman of The Friends, said,

"We are all in for a treat. I’m told the Maasai Warriors’ performance is a sensation to watch. They have natural rhythm and are famed for jumping. All their performances are narrated and tell a story of their lives"
