“We’d like to give a big Shout Out to our four-year-old son Herbie who was diagnosed with Leukemia in January.

“Despite all of the pain and anguish he's been through, he's been an absolute star and takes his daily medication without any fuss."

– Sent by his dad David, mum Kerry and big brother Hugo

John Drewe from Bletchley in Milton Keynes

“I would like to send a Christmas Shout Out about to my lovely husband John.

“I have had a lot of health problems over the last couple of years. He has always been there for me and he spoils me terribly.

“He is raising money for cancer research by growing a goatee beard at the moment - everyone says he looks like Tom Jones.”

Jem and Jenny Warren from Great Yarmouth in Norfolk

“They are always there to help their friends when they have life's troubles. I would just like to say how much you mean to all your friends and family and I couldn't be without you.”

“She works so hard to look after me and I can never thank her enough for all she does. From all my personal care through to arranging my numerous appointments, she looks after everything.

“As Christmas approaches Pauline goes into overdrive, the house will look like Santa's grotto. Gifts for all will be purchase and beautifully wrapped.

“My gratitude for all Paulene has sacrificed over the years will never be fully known by her, but I would love to thank her for all she does.”
