More than 200,000 people are expected to line Clacton seafront for its popular 2 day annual airshow.

Tendring District Council say it provides a £5 million boost to the local economy.

Highlights this year include the Battle of Britain memorial flight, the Tiger parachute team and Sally B, the B 17 bomber.

Two more airborne displays were added to the programme at the last minute. The B-25 Mitchell bomber and the Vampire Pair are both taking part.

"I am really looking forward to the two days and hope we will get the excellent turnout that seems to grow year on year. This year there will be night flights on August 25th, which will be a first, as will a firework display the same evening."
