Ex Met detective opens tiny pub at Diss Station

A former detective with the Met Police has opened a tiny pub in the old taxi office at Diss Station in Norfolk.

The idea came to him when he was commuting to London and noticed the empty building was up for let.

Dan Steggles is well aware that pubs are closing at the rate of 21 a week but is hoping his business won't hit the buffers.
