Spookily mild on Halloween for the third year in a row

Temperatures were close to 20°C in the Anglia region on Monday as Halloween was mild for the third consecutive year.

The highest temperature reached in the region was 19.5°C at Woburn in Bedfordshire. Wales had its hottest Halloween ever when the thermometer reached 22.2°C at Trawsgoed in Dyfed.

The average maximum temperature at the end of October in the Anglia region is 12°C.
