With an estimated 350,000 to 400,000 mobility scooters now on the roads and pavements of the UK a company in Sudbury, Suffolk is offering safety training for users. There have been a reported 700 accidents involving mobility scooters in the last six years

"Potentially they're hazardous vehicles. they're quite big and go up to 8 mph, they can be dangerous. So it's so important that the person in the scooter knows how to use it and use it properly. And you've assessed their needs so you know its something they can cope with and manage"
