The family of a three-year-old boy who was seriously hurt when he was hit by a moped in Northampton say they are disgusted with the rider's sentence.
Kylan Spires was playing outside his grandmother's house in Derwent Drive when the crash happened on June 12.
He lost four teeth and needed surgery on his face
Alan Day, 29, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to causing injury by dangerous driving, failing to stop at the scene of an accident and driving without a licence or insurance.
Day was jailed in June for two-and-a-half years.
Denise Spires, Kylan's grandmother, said: "It is not enough - not for what he did. He lost four of his teeth, big gash on his head.
"He got a big graze. They reckon he was hit flung in the air then dragged to the front of them cars."
