More CCTV released in Norwich rape investigation

Police want to identify several potential witnesses after a woman was raped in Norwich.

The 30-year-old woman was attacked in Thorpe St Andrew on Saturday 1 July.

She was walking on Yarmouth Road between the Rushcutters pub and near to the junction of Thunder Lane at around 9.45pm when it happened.

CCTV has been released of people who were seen in the area at the time of the rape.

Detective Inspector Neil Stewart, from the Norfolk and Suffolk Major Investigation Team urged people who recognised themselves or anyone they know to come forward.

He said: "We’re over a month into this enquiry and while a lot of progress has been made we would still be keen to identify people who were in the area that night or who use this route regularly.”
